It’s pizza for Portswood in former bank building

A Baffi pizza restaurant is hoping to open as early as “mid next week” in the old Lloyds Bank building opposite Sainsbury’s on Portswood Road.
Baffi, which has four other branches in and around Bournemouth, Poole and
Ringwood, says on its website it “specialises in authentic Neapolitan
style pizzas” which are “cooked at very high temperatures of up to 500°C
by our pizzaioli from Naples, for no longer than 90 seconds in our wood
Baffi also offers a takeaway menu.

it plans to open from 11am-11pm daily [update: a sign suggests opening hours are from noon until 11pm].
The chain gets a strong
rating on Trip Advisor for its restaurants: its Westbourne branch, for example, scored 53% “Excellent” and a 30% “Very good” rating.
